Sizzle is a bold, icon-driven app concept designed to showcase the best grilling recipes for novice grillmasters. Starting with hand-drawn sketches, the project evolved from a set of icons into a cohesive identity system. Designed to feel bold, playful, and instantly engaging for a younger audience.

Explore three distinct icon styles and how visual language communicates. One system was selected and expanded into Sizzle, a cooking app concept designed for a younger audience, translating the icon set’s visual character into a cohesive brand and app concept.

Designing the Wordmark
After brainstorming the app name, I began by sketching wordmark logo ideas on paper, before developing them further in Illustrator. The final direction leans into the system of the Icon Set.
